This is one of the most beautiful sites I have come across in a long time. Peace is the only way forward, governments are in need of maturing and realising that going to war only creates more chaos, more destruction, and the loss of more innocent lives. To think that violence can solve anything, in itself is a disgusting conclusion. The media are manipulating the minds of people worldwide into thinking that going to war will be the best solution, but have we not learnt from Afghanistan, from Iraq?

I am jewish, but not very religious. I believe that all religions teach the same thing. That is to love one another. That’s all that god cares about. He doesn’t care what you believe, but what you do. He doesn’t care what religion you are, or what you call him, or even if you believe in him at all. Religions cause war because we all grow up believing that the religion that we believe in is the correct one. There are literally thousands of variations of religion out there. They all basically teach the same thing, “do unto others as you would have done to you”.
If the world could learn to live by that simple rule, we would all live in peace.
God is love. God doesn’t pick and choose people from certain regions of the world or certain upbringings. We are all god’s children and we are all equal in his eyes.

I am glad to see grass roots movements such as this brings Iranians and Israelis together. There is Jewishness in every Iranian. I strongly believe many Iranians are descendants of lost tribes of Israel. War between Iran and Israel will only kill innocent Israelis and assimilated Jews of Iran. Many Iranians are sick and tired religious fundamentalism but don’t like to see their livelihoods destroyed in a meaningless war. Our religious and political leaders are pushing us like a flock of sheep to a slaughterhouse, because they believe they can accelerate coming of the Mashiach. This crisis is the invention of dooms day believers entrenched among evangelist Christians and Jewish and Muslim Shia clerics, so they can accelerate coming of Meshiach, and only by means of a cataclysmic event. Please let`s not be a flock of sheep.
As an Iranian I must say that the fault lies entirely with Iran. How does one avoid war with a regime that understands nothing but brute force, denies Holocaust, sodomizes and tortures his own sons and daughters in order to instill fear and repress free speech.
I think world leaders are doing their best to avoid a war but Iranian leaders are hell bent on acquiring nukes so they can have a free hand brutalizing the people of Iran and turn it into another North Korea, as well as export their insane interpretation of Islam, a religion that is violent and anti-women at best, if not apocalyptic.
The world must stand united and willing to use force if needed. I certainly prefer war, to Iran having nuclear weapons. ANYTIME

The vast majority of Palestinians hate the Jews and want to through them in the sea, so I don’t support peace at ANY terms. What disturbs you so much is not the plight of Palestinians, but that there are people who love Israel and the Jews.
And I am very happy to hear that so many Iranians love Israel and don’t stand behind the few “fools of Iran”. I sometimes read it, but don’t know what to believe – is it true that about 90% have nothing against Israel and the Jews?
In Europe we had 2000 years of church hate instigation against the Jews, than this hatred was exported to the Arab countries and because of many circumstances fell on a very fertile sole there – but Iran had an other history.
I recently read that most Israelis, whether right or left, are against attacking Iran (and most Americans are in favour) – I pray that there will be no war. I’m also aware that’s not easy to stop some fools, and Israel has all right to defend herself, but I hope with all my heart that this will not be necessary.
It’s already a little victory to know the real feelings of the people, to know that the majority of us love each other and don’t want war. Don’t let these fools win over our hearts.

Jokes may be the biggest challenge; it’s hard to translate humor from one language to the other, but it can be done. I wish the whole world could agree to retire their armies, and instead start recruiting all their young people to “Humor Troops.” The mission would be to translate the best jokes from their native languages into at least 3 other languages, in a way that would make them just as funny in translation as in the original. To advance to Officer status in the Humor ranks, you’d have to learn more languages.
(It’s just a fantasy, but wouldn’t it be great?)

Sadly all so called ‘leaders’ thesedays want to be a war leader as that is what gets their name into history. There is plenty of love on every corner for humanity, so far there has been no way for it to come together. But there is still hope, we all MUST try, try and keep trying to change the status quo via innovative methods like this. This is where hope is for the human in us come out an be heard.

It is valuable to see that as the enormity of a decision to bomb Iran looms larger the clarity of thinking is becoming much sharper. The bomb itself may not be the issue? Pakistan has a bomb but it has not promoted the destruction of Israel, thus there is no talk of war with Pakistan?

That said, much more work needs to be done to lay a foundation of peace between Israel and Palestine. The Northern Ireland/British land conflict endured for 600 years. If a benevolent Grandfather with ties to all faiths were guiding this process how would he view Israel/Palestine: An accident of history or a new way to change the whole World?

i just want to go snowboarding in iran and MTB freeriding at their beautiful mountains then road trip from iran to israel and just relax at israels beautiful beaches and meet some new friends along the way.
but…..
none of these will be possible if these mountains are flattened by bombs and these beaches soaked in blood and floating dead bodies…
i know there are a lot of isrealis and iranians who shares my idea of life… maybe someday my friends we can ride together whether with a snowboard or a mountain bike.

beeing a iranian jew and living abroad and knowing my culture and history very well. no way is it possible that iran and israel will fight one another.
there is more monuments and proove of judaisme in iran then there is in israel. exemple . esther and mordechais’s tomb ,…..many iranian jews still live there happily and will not move out of iran . persian muslims are in general not fanatic like arab muslims are for exemple; iran does not have any suicide bombers. our history goes way way back together and i hope it will grow strong in the future.

I just watched the iranian film ‘Separation’. and i have to admit that it is a wonderful wonderful film. It realy opened my mind, and touched me. we are not that different. I don’t understand why i need to be in a conflict with the iranian people. It just makes no sence.
sometimes changes starts with small steps. So, if any iranian will ever read this, then please accept the love of one israeli guy into your heart. And may god save us from our collective stupidity
